I have noticed in 2017 - 2018 that many of the hydroponic shops are advertising illegally when it come to many Items like extraction (Ruck) now known as Can-fans.

Here is a few examples and links to the 2 shops I found adverting on the online shop or Amazon.

Somerset hydroponics on Amazon claim to be selling (at extremely high prices)

The first one I found was for:

CAN-FAN (RUCK) RKW 100L Temperature Controlled Grow Room Fan

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/CAN-FAN-RU...1&keywords=can-fan+temperature+controlled+fan

And the 2nd was for a:

CAN-FAN (RUCK) RKW 200L Temperature Controlled Grow Room Fan

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/CAN-FAN-RU...2&keywords=can-fan+temperature+controlled+fan

They clearly tell you it's Dispatched from and sold by Esoteric.

Now I know for a fact because I already had been in contact with Esoteric also known as w w w.1-hydroponics.co.uk who I nearly placed an order with, When I double checked with them to see if I would be getting the correct fan I was about to order. (see link below) They told me - NO - They had phoned around and these fans are NO LONGER available and would be more than happy to dispatch me a replacement Prima Klima Thermostat Controlled Fan.

Who? What? Hang on a minute !! You was advertising the

    CAN RKW150 Fan 6" 150mm - 460m³/h (£173.00)
    CAN RKW150L Fan 6" 150mm - 700m³/h (£196.00)
    etc
    etc

Nearly 3 weeks later and still they are advertising these RUCK/Can-Fans FOR SALE
When they do not have them in stock and can not get hold of them. Hear is what was said:

They said: We do not have them in stock, We phoned around & We can not order or get hold of one for you.
I said: But you was willing to take my money and are advertising them on your on-line shop (web-site)
They replied: We would of sent you a replacement fan

Hang on a minute, Let me see if I have this right, I want to buy a Rolls Royce (fan) and you have not said
OUT OF STOCK and was going to send me a MINI in place of a Rolls Royce for the same price

Why don't these hydroponic shops REMOVE the ad's or at least state: OUT OF STOCK or NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Don't believe me, contact both hydroponic shops and ask them yourself by phone or email. Let me know what replies you get.

Answering to those who has sent PM's to me. You know who you are. NO I am not accusing these shops of scamming or anything alike. What I am saying is this, IF you no longer stock or unable to get hold of these fans or in fact (any Items) to sell to your customers than why NOT remove ad's from your web shops, stores or just add NO LONGER AVAILABLE. It has to be better to be honest than leading people up the garden path by letting people order "What they think are getting" and than you send something completely different is all I am saying.

Many or MOST hydroponic UK shops (on-line) state out of stock, more on order or coming soon, no longer available, So why can't the few shops I am talking about do the same and not lead customers into a false state of thinking it's available or in stock. Easy be honest.

Hello Stephen, Maybe they just need to update the on-line e-shop software. But I agree they could at least flag up out of stock or no longer available.

Enjot the rest of your evening.
